PRE-SERVICE TEACHERS’ VIEWS ABOUT ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE COURSES THROUGH DISTANCE EDUCATION

Awareness about possible contributions and drawbacks of English as a foreign language courses through distance traditional face-to-face education may contribute to improving the efficiency process teaching learning language. The aim this study is investigate pre-service teachers’ views related compared education. intended reveal pros cons not only but also provide some suggestions overcome problems encountered with distant and/or learning/teaching English. Moreover, aimed explore attitudes towards impact on their grades. This employed both qualitative quantitative research methods. participants were 91 teachers from different majors for part present while 14 participated in part. findings highlight importance regarding considering perceived strengths weaknesses each. Likewise, provided implications improve effectiveness language, which considered one top priorities Turkish system.
